This B&W print is based upon a digital copy of the original drawing done by the artist (graphite pencil). The detailed pencil sketch of Rudd Chapel is based upon several photos I pulled from the internet. I never had the pleasure of actually visiting the college.
This building was a very familiar landmark to Summit students attending Summit Ministries Bryan College, TN, summer sessions, though I suspect the distorted ground-level, fish-eye lens perspective was likely not a view they remember! All the photos I had access to were in broad daylight, so I had to imagine a darkening twilight sky, the lighting and the shadows
Then I got really wild and imagined a Bethlehem-like star peering through the clouds above the chapel, signifying the beginning of Christ's purposeful sojourn on earth. Its heavenly juxtaposition to the earthly Cross bridges the two historic events, completing the arc of His mission to humanity; to save us from our sins.

- Unnumbered 8" x 10"prints are also printed to order on either cold pressed, fine art textured paper, or 100# Linen card stock. There are no limits on the total print run for 8"x10" prints, either the 100# Linen or the Cold Press fine art paper. They are not signed, numbered, and do not come with a certificate of authenticity.
