A special stars and stripes F-15C paint scheme unveiled by the California Air National Guard’s 144th Fighter Wing, to celebrate Tail Flash #113 for reaching more than 10,000 flight hours.
The California ANG 144th Fighter Wing is stationed out of Fresno in the Central Valley.
Soon, the Fresno Air National Guard Base will be home to a squadron of the brand new F-15EX multi-role fighter.
I created the fighter flying somewhere over the California Sierra Nevada mountains where the arid grass and sage highlands merge with the start of the forest. Maybe somewhere Near Mammoth Lakes or Mono Lake? Your guess is as good as mine!! I tried to create a landscape reminiscent of all my trips up that way as a kid.
Comes with an embossed Certificate of Authenticity.
